What is skill?
What is categoried as skill?
As in, what works with the 'Improve skill recharge(x%)' mods? I'm specificly wondering if traps are counted as skill, because they don't seem to recharge faster at all. Thanks alot. |

It's a known misleading description. Fast cast/skill recharge mods only affect spells.

"...What is skill?..."
Er...something that most wamo's lack? :P Are you sure about the "improves skill recharge" not affecting skills? I've seen some debate about it so am not sure what the final view was? Last edited by DeanBB; Jan 17, 2006 at 08:47 PM // 20:47.. |

Skills = Spell || Attack || Stance || Shout || Ritual || Pet Att || Signet ...Etc
Basicly any "Skill" in Guild Wars count as Skill ...+) Hope this help. |

Ok, basically, the recharge to all skills mod is lying. It only applies to spells. This is annoying, and the reason trappers aren't going after 10/10 recharge items like crazy.

Unienaule is right, the description is very misleading ... (since all things are skills) but the 20 fast cast/20 recharge work only for spells.
If you want better recharge for traps, you need Serpent's Quickness/Quickening Zephyr, plain and simple |

It really is misleading.
Distrupting Chop says it interrupts whatever the target was doing. If the interrupted thing was a skill, it gets disabled for 20 seconds. If I hit the target while it's just trying to hit me, I interrupt the blow? If I hit the target while it's casting a spell, is the spell disabled for 20 secs? Atleast for sure it disables Healing Signet for 20 secs if I manage to interrupt it. |

Hmm a Skill is a Skill....
Have anyone above try a Me/W --> Illusionary Weaponry Build? First Get urself an FFS (Axe) (10% ISR) With 20% Ench Longer Here is a list of skill u will see the 10% ISR gonna apply. Illusionary Weaponry - (Ench) Distortion - (Stance) Cyclone Axe - (Attack) Healing Signet - (Sigent) I am sure skill mean more then just "Ench", "Attack", "Stance", "Sigent". But at least those 4 "Skills" work for me. |

The problem with the word "skill" as used in Guild Wars (even when it is used in proper context) is that it has multiple meanings. Sometimes it means anything you can put in your skill bar. Sometimes it means that except for Rez Sig and Sig of Capture. Sometimes it means Non-spells.
